Beautifully crafted, very comfortable to hold and use, a great bit of kit!

The wood is beautiful and the finish is lovely. There's a heft to the knife that feels substantial but it's balanced quite nicely. I wish I had a reason to own two of these pieces

This marking knife is amazing. I chose the bog oak and brass combination and it is beautiful. It feels substantial in my hand and allows me to feel the wood grain even though it has been stabilized. The attention to detail in the design is clear: it allows me to use the knife left-handed, has tight tolerances for the blade insertion, and a perfect transition from wood to ferrule. I was wondering if rolling off my bench might be a problem with this style, but so far, it rolls a couple of revolutions and then stops itself. I also love the fact that the design uses replaceable blades that are easily accessible and affordable so I won’t end up spending more on them than the holder itself! Even the packaging is excellent: I received an extra blade and allen key as well as a slim box that will allow it to travel safely. Great work, Matt!

First of all the packaging the knife comes in represents the quality of the standard of the knife, everything is considered from different sorts of blades for different purposes, great for inlays, dovetails or just simple straight lines.. The shape of the knife is like an extension of my hand. Snakewood is very durable timber and naturally stands out on the workbench. Cannot recommend this knife enough!
